Abstract

This chapter draws on PhD research with therapists and clients to argue that therapy practice needs to be revisioned as an eco-psycho-social endeavour in response to the climate and ecological emergency (CEE), rather than a purely individualistic one. The implications for therapy practice are discussed in detail and include therapists doing their own work regarding the CEE, being more proactive and holding hope with clients.
