Abstract
Voices of the Children of Lake Chad" is a collaborative work co-created by children from four nations in the Lake Chad region. The book is an output from a GCRF funded photovoice research with children and communities experiencing protracted armed conflict and crisis. This output, captures the children's firsthand experiences with the Boko Haram crisis, illustrating the significant impact it has had on their lives and well-being. Through their collective effort, the children amplify their voices, expressing hope for a future where the children of the Lake Chad region can live and learn in safe spaces. While awaiting this future, the children use their work to challenge global leaders to continue working towards making the Lake Chad region free and safe again.
