Abstract
As public engagement becomes more central to the role of a researcher, many practitioners are considering how to incorporate public engagement into their undergraduate provision. This panel discussion will explore a range of approaches to support formal teaching of public engagement and science communication at the undergraduate level. Panellists will share their experiences of what works well to develop a public engagement curriculum, gain institutional support and offer students academically rigorous opportunities to lead their own public engagement activities.
