Abstract

Video 4 of a series of 4 introductory films made as part of the 'Implementing the Transformation of Police Learning and Development project' led by Prof Jean Hartley. Videos feature interviews with senior policing learning specialists and academic experts.

Video 4 is an invitation to all 43 police forces to participate in the project. The video details how the project will create a repository of knowledge and a national learning network to share knowledge between forces and the OU as a creative facilitator of online learning. It describes benefits to forces such as shaping the future of the workforce and preparing for the professionalisation of policing and new PEQF qualification framework.
