Abstract

This poster is part of my EdD programme. I am researching the lived experiences of OU SiSE tutors in order to determine what they bring to their prison tuition role, what makes a "great" tutorial for them, whilst also identifying areas of personal excellence/improvement which will lead into local and international policy development.

This study adopts a qualitative methodology (Bryman et al (2021)), enabling an interpretive phenomenological analysis (Smith et al, (2022)) of prison tutors' lived experiences.
