Euphorbia susannae is endangered in the wild

Walker, Colin (2022). Euphorbia susannae is endangered in the wild. CactusWorld, 40(4) p. 301.

Abstract

Euphorbia susannae is a charismatic, well-known species. It is Endangered in the wild and the study by Jabar et al. (2021) aimed to assess its population biology and ecology. They found its Extent of Occurrence (EOO) to be only 170 sq. km and only 1845 individuals were counted in the wild. This strongly supports its Endangered status.
