Abstract
The ‘Executive Summary’ provides an overview of the ‘Impact Evaluation Initiative of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)’ and the key deliverables of this initiative.
The impact evaluation initiative, conducted at The Open University (OU), UK, has involved applying an Impact Evaluation Framework (IEF) to assess impact of 16 SoTL projects.
The initiative has two key deliverables: ‘A compendium of case studies’ (available at: https://doi.org/10.21954/ou.ro.000155c0) showcases the impact of 16 SoTL projects; and ‘A guide for educators’ (available at: https://doi.org/10.21954/ou.ro.000155c1) details the analyses of the impact of the case studies, and provides a toolkit for planning, evaluating, and communicating impact of SoTL.
