Abstract
This research-based book is designed to enable readers to explore entrepreneurship in all its complexity and variety. It provides a detailed and critical analysis of the multiple types of entrepreneurship. The two-part structure will help you to develop relevant practical skills, grasp important theoretical concepts, and apply research insights to real-world challenges.
Exploring Entrepreneurship opens with an introductory chapter and a chapter that outlines some of the different ways that entrepreneurship is practised around the world. This is followed by Part I: Entrepreneurship in Practice, which covers the key issues faced by anyone creating and developing an entrepreneurial venture. Part II: Perspectives on Entrepreneurship, is an overview of the latest research evidence, which includes profiles of leading researchers, ‘student focus’ cases and practical activities.
The expanded third edition of Exploring Entrepreneurship features:
• Additional coverage of entrepreneurship and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), corporate entrepreneurship, variety and diversity in entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial approaches to public service delivery.
• New and updated Case Studies that tackle cutting-edge practical issues.
• New and updated Researcher Profiles from leading international scholars.
• Enhanced Recommended Reading sections in each chapter with concise introductions to the latest research findings.
• Essential online resources for students, including free access to selected SAGE journal articles, pre-reading suggestions, self- assessment questions and revision tips, plus a range of lecturer resources, are available via the publisher’s website: https://study.sagepub.com/blundel3e
