Abstract

The general purpose of this paper is to give an overview of the changes that the 2012 EU Victims' Directive is likely to make to the provision of rights, support and protection for victims within the EU. More specifically the paper aims to analyse the sufficiency of provision for victims in England and Wales as currently provided for under the Victims' Code of Practice.
