Aloe tewoldei - a rare, cliff-dwelling Ethiopian endemic

Walker, Colin (2021). Aloe tewoldei - a rare, cliff-dwelling Ethiopian endemic. Haworthiad, 35(1) pp. 4–5.

Abstract

Aloe tewoldei is a cremnophyte with a very localised distribution in Ethiopian. It branches basally and hangs pendulously from cliffs. Its inflorescence is unusual for an aloe being very fine, lax and pendulous. It closest relative appears to be the equally highly localised Aloe jacksonii.
