Abstract
Mobile devices: what type and combinations do students and tutors welcome for L&T?
This event focuses on data emerging from analytics reports, qualitative research focussing on the student voice, and tutor practitioners’ experiences about the range or combination of mobile devices they own, and how they are using these to shape their OU L & T experience. We aim to explore student and tutor views concerning:
• what affordances are welcomed
• what combinations work well, and
• what if any barriers there may be to using particular devices or formats.
This should be of interest to those involved in designing and delivering L & T using mobile devices.
