Abstract
This chapter from 'Policing Digital Crime' explores recent developments in digital forensics, which it notes is at the end of a 'golden age'. Challenges relating to the forensic acquisition and analysis of solid state drives (SSDs) and cloud-based data are discussed. Also covered are the some of the issues with policing the deep web, the rise of anti-forensics and a multitude of factors that undermine expert evidence.
