Abstract

'Still Life with Blackbirds' is the result of a site-specific collaboration between Joanne Reardon and the Cotswold artist, Richard Kenton Webb at the Corinium Museum in Cirencester. The collaborative project was formed of a series of black and white linocuts and a short story, both of which were displayed together in the Museum’s dedicated gallery space during September 2014. The book was written in response to the prints and to the museum displays of Roman and Anglo Saxon artefacts. ‘Still Life with Blackbirds’ is a crime/mystery fiction.
