Abstract

UBV RI observations of the recently identified intermediate polar 1WGA J1958.2+3232 reveal that the pulsation period of 733 s is half the white dwarf spin period and demonstrate the existence of an optical beat modulation. An orbital modulation is detected in all wavebands, but the previously identified orbital period is likely to be an alias.
