Abstract

The aim of this guide book is to illustrate the main vegetation types, plants and lichens of the northern part of Soroya, the fourth largest island of Norway and to allow visitors to become acquainted with its beautiful and fragile natural environment. The guide contains more than 230 full-colored photographs, the plants are arranged according to their habitats, and mosses and lichens are covered in their own chapters. A good companion for all who are interested in the northern wildlife.
