Abstract

ALPN is a Carrick Institute funded initiative involving 22 of Australia’s Law Schools designed to significantly improve the methodology and supervisory arrangements for law postgraduate research degrees. The discipline of Law has relatively few higher degree research enrolments, limited supervisory capacity, and has not previously worked together to encourage improvements in supervision practice. ALPN makes available supervisory training, multiple qualified expert supervisors across institutions, methodological and statistical support and promotes modern collaborative supervisory strategies across Australian Law Schools.
