Abstract
An edition of selections from the two manuscripts of Anne Southwell's verse (Folger Shakespeare Library MS Vb.198 and British Library Lansdowne MS 740), consisting of four short poems and 654 lines from her poetry on the decalogue. The edition includes an introduction to the manuscript, biographical and politico-religious contexts of Southwell's verse as well as detailed textual and explanatory notes.
