Abstract

This Technical Note describes a further independent analysis of the Photometric tests from Radiation Campaign 3 (RC3). The document first outlines some additional calibration steps performed to enable precise comparison between damaged and undamaged spectra. It then describes a detailed analysis of the BP Injection Delay tests to assess the effects of the various test parameters on the profile distortion. The first stage of the analysis used various charge loss profiles to characterise the instantaneous and cumulative effects across the extent of the spectra. The second stage quantified the total charge loss for the different test parameters. The losses were found to be strongly dependent on the injection delay and magnitude but not the DOB level.
