Abstract

This Technical Note describes an initial independent analysis of the BP/RP tests performed as part Radiation Campaign 3 (RC3) and complements GAIA.ASF.TCN.PLM.00503 produced by Astrium. The note first outlines a preliminary inspection of the dataset in preparation for a more thorough analysis. A description of the methods used to remove the background signal is given, followed by an outline of the techniques utilized to accumulate the data from a specific test. Then some first comparisons are made between undamaged damaged spectra from the a section of the tests. Finally the findings from the initial analysis are used to formulate a strategy for a more detailed analysis of the entire Test Matrix.
