Abstract
This book includes a full concordance of all the rhyming words in Spenser's The Faerie Queene, alongside two critical introductions which consider the place of rhyme in Spenser's work, including detailed reception histories and accounts of his different rhyming strategies in The Faerie Queene. Brown's introductory essay is 60,000 words in length.
