Abstract

This chapter explores the implications and possible strategies for embedding Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) and Functional Skills within the Secondary Music Curriculum. It argues that embedding these skills within musical learning, rather than as an add-on leads to their effective and progressive development.
