Abstract
Eight-page exhibition catalogue for a painting signed in monogram and dated 1566, depicting a north Italian court festival. The painting features figures in courtly, theatrical and pastoral costume. Notably, it depicts around ninety figures wearing the costume of the Italian mattacino, or armed, acrobatic moresca dancer. Its subject and possible artist and influences are discussed.
