Abstract
In this article the authors discuss the historical research of everyday life, or Alltagsgeschichte. The authors discuss how they see everyday life history in their field of work and their definition of Alltagsgeschichte. They consider if the politics of communist regimes in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe factor in how researchers think of everyday life history.
