Abstract

Total ionization cross-sections for electrons in the energy range from threshold to 2000 eV are calculated for the molecules O2, N2O, NO2, ClO, OClO, Cl2O, SF5CF3, NO3 and N2O5. The total inelastic cross-sections determined in the spherical complex potential formalism are used to calculate the total ionization cross-sections. The present total ionization cross-sections are found to be consistent with experimental measurements, where they exist.
