Abstract

The article offers suggestions for nurses in Great Britain to take care of issues related to accountability, responsibility and law. It is stated that an accountable nurse is one who delegates the care of a patient and who ensures that the task has been properly performed by nursing students. It is stated that from a legal perspective, the action of the student or support worker must be monitored by the person who is accountable while care is being performed.
