Abstract

Since the first publication of Igbo folktales in 1910, a certain number of books and journal articles have appeared: Igbo texts, English and French translations, children's books, critical studies. At the same time, research developed in this field. Unfortunately, Igbo studies are still lost in bibliographies either too vast or compiled before 1971. This study would like to offer a supplement of information while proposing a more precise tool to researchers.
