Abstract

In 2025 in Marie Curie and other organisations, co funded by the Motor Neurone Association and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), in partnership with the James Lind Alliance published a set of priorities for Palliative and End of Life Care research as the result of a Priority Setting Partnership.

This report is the output of a project that brought together academics from a wide range of social sciences and humanities disciplines. The report outlines the results of a secondary analysis of the initial survey data from the 2025 Palliative and End of Life Care Priority Setting Partnership, to generate research areas for social sciences and the humanities regarding future palliative and end of life care research.
