Abstract

www.iSpotnature.org, a citizen science platform for biodiversity, has engaged and empowered many through an interest in wildlife since 2009. Unique in its approach, iSpot helps participants identify species and learn while contributing biological records. This talk explores the challenges and successes maintaining this community; the approaches used, as well as opportunities for the future.
