Abstract
This is a summative review of evidence generated by the English in Action programme between 2008 and 2017 in Bangladesh. It articulates the underpinning school-based teacher professional development model. It then sets out evidence of impacts on teachers' and student's views on teaching and learning English, classroom practices and student learning outcomes.
