Abstract

This Grab-and-Go guide builds on research about how people use the Ambitions for Palliative and End of Life Care framework. The research was conducted by a team at The Open University. The research examined case studies and uncovered what helps and hinders people to realise the Ambitions. We found a wide range of practices and confidence levels when it came to using the framework, with many people not knowing where to start or how to progress. A focus on foundations enabled people to work towards multiple Ambitions.
