Abstract

This chapter examines data from the multinational RETOPEA project, collected between 2019 and 2020, which reveals European young peoples' attitudes towards contemporary and historical religious diversity. It demonstrates the 'presentist' epistemology in young peoples' thinking about religion past and present, and suggests various pedagogical approaches in response.
