Abstract
To reflect the aims of 2022's International Women's Day, this blog emphasises the need for girls and young women to 'see themselves' in learning materials and textbooks. Using exemplars from the Strengthening Adolescent Girls' Education project in Zimbabwe, the authors highlight the impact on young women when occupation stereotypes are challenged.
