Abstract
Phase 1 of Reset and Build reimagined the relationship between public sector and Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector Health and Care (H&C) partnerships in Central Lancashire. The need for this was identified in preparation for organisational and legal changes introduced by the Health and Care Bill (2021) which envision a key role for the VCSE sector going forward as a partner in delivering integrated H&C services. This KTP project facilitated workshops
with 22 VCSE organisations in Central Lancashire to produce a series of recommendations to deliver more equitable H&C partnership working, placing the VCSE sector central to integration. The recommendations were presented as a report to the Central Lancashire Partnership Board meeting in December 2021 where they were accepted to form the basis for Phase 2 of Reset and Build. Phase 2 will build on the success of Phase 1 to turn these recommendations in workable actions.
