Abstract
Insider-fraud risks are on the rise as the economic and psychological fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic takes its toll on organisations and their employees. Understanding these risks and knowing how to manage them will be an important part of many CFEs’ jobs. This article explains how and why the insider fraud risk has increased during the pandemic and how organisations could mitigate that risk.
