Chamberlain, Liz (2020). Remedying the impact of school closures: be kind, thank a teacher. OpenLearn, Milton Keynes.
Abstract
After former Ofsted Chief Inspector for England says the only way he can see school closures recovering after COVID-19 is for teachers to work weekends and evenings, this article highlights the ways teachers and senior leaders are setting the tone, keeping vulnerable children safe and finding ways of looking out for each other during the health crisis. The article highlights the importance that relationships continue to play in effective teaching and learning.
