Abstract
The flowering of Agave nickelsiae was observed at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens. This inflorescence was estimated to be 4.5m tall. Consequently inflorescence size is a significant difference between this species and the closely related Agave victoriae-reginae which has shorter flower spikes (1.5-4.3m).
