Abstract

This paper describes work undertaken within the MOB consortium on the data management aspects of multi-disciplinary design. A data management environment, based on the formalism of the STEP standard, is being introduced as part of the MOB computational design engine. The work is applied in the context of the design of a blended wing-body aircraft.
