Abstract

This concluding chapter draws together the themes of the earlier chapters of 'Mobile Learning: The Next Generation' and explores the credibility of contextual learning as the next generation of mobile learning. This necessitates looking at evolving factors and trends in the wider educational and social environment, including technological, demographic and business trends. Challenges around scale, sustainability, ethics, evaluation and design are also considered.
