Abstract

The context of this work is an Integrated Family Support Team in Wales. These interdisciplinary teams (social workers, community psychiatric nurses and health visitors) were introduced by the Welsh Government, supported by the Children and Families (Wales) Measure 2010, to work intensively with families where there are risks to children through parental substance misuse.
