Abstract

We are developing a computer model to simulate the X-ray light curves observed from intermediate polars. The program is described in outline, and then in more detail, with regard to current theories of the accretion process (including whether or not discs are present, and the shape and size of the accretion regions). A summary is given of the results obtained so far, and ideas for future enhancements discussed.
