Abstract
Would you like to find out more about books created with iPads and tablets, which represent children’s stories in pictures, sounds and text? Would you like to learn how to personalise children’s favourite stories or let them create their own digital storybooks? Are you interested in exploring ways of using such stories to enhance children’s engagement in classroom activities? This Minibook is an introduction for Early Years and primary school practitioners interested in the potential of personalised stories made on tablets and iPads. The book offers a rationale for using new technologies to enhance children’s engagement in English, History and Mathematics lessons, and invites teachers to consider the potential of this approach for their practice.
