Abstract

This chapter accompanies one section of the exhibition Le Corbusier et la photographie, held at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland (October-December 2012), which I curated. It is a first attempt to analyse the previously unknown photographs which Le Corbusier took with a 16mm film camera, from 1936-1938. This material was developed further and considerably revised in my book LC Foto Le Corbusier photographer, Lars Muller, Zurich, due to be published in June 2013.
