Abstract

In this chapter I focus attention onto research methods and methodological approaches to the study of family relationships and intimate life. Through analysis of empirical data from original research I demonstrate how different methods produce distinctive kinds of data and the ways in which these underpin how we make sense of and understand intimacy and family relationships.
