From 2005 - 2008, the Open University carried out an independent evaluation of the work of the Milton Keynes Community Mobiliser service. This service, part of the work of the Childrens Fund, was innovative in the way it involved children and families in interventions intended to tackle deprivation and disadvantage.
The Evaluation gathered the views of parents, children, workers and managers and made recommendations about the development of the service.
