Abstract
This book constitutes the thorouhly refereed post-conference proceedings of the First Future Internet Symposium, FIS 2008, held in Vienna, Austria, in September 2008. The 10 revised full papers presented together with 4 invited papers were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions.
