(2002).
Tackling youth crime: supporting families in crisis.
Child and Family Law Quarterly, 14(4),
pp. 401–426.
Abstract
The author explores the precise nature of the relationship between parenting and delinquency and then the links between economic deprivation and youth crime in order to challenge a recent proposal to reduce child benefit provision in families where children persist in offending and where the parents appear not to be taking steps to prevent such behaviour.
