About the book: This publication is a collection of papers on teaching children how to write. It provides a mix of contributions written by lecturers in teacher education, consultants and classroom teachers. The three themes are: Naming Worlds, Hearing Voices; Thinking Like a Writer; Knowing and Doing. Each part provides case study material, a discussion of teaching strategies and theoretical insight.
