Abstract
This paper argues that business and management schools are entering a period of disruptive transformation. It describes a 'classic' model of business learning and teaching (BLT) and contrasts this with a new configuration (or, more accurately, set of configurations) which can be termed 'BLT' emergent. The major areas of institutional change are discussed under five headings.
