Abstract
This book reports findings of a cross-country research project on 'globalisation and inequality'. It examines four topics of fields where globalisation has a major impact on inequality. It presents summaries of original research undertaken in a set of developing and transitional countries (Bulgaria, Vietnam, Mali, South Africa, and also in Switzerland. It contains overviews of the finding by topic: macroeconomics, education, health and social protection, plus a summary overview of the project as a whole.
